I reside near a small community in Calaveras County (home of Mark Twain's "Celebrated Jumping Frog") on the western slope of California's Sierra Nevada Mtn's. Many of you may remember my sharing the underground world by leading spelunking and walking tours through Moaning Cavern. Well, on Labor Day weekend, 2002 I assumed the manager's position and now work there full time. Check this link for photos and send me copies of any you may have that I can add! Somewhat of a history buff, I enjoy participating in living history events. That's me in a costume I wore a few years ago for the Sonora Mother Lode Roundup, depicting one of many "vigilantes" who helped clean up the town of "undesirable elements".

Working at, and managing a public cavern is not just my "9 to 5" job... Caving has become one of my major pursuits. Besides our local mother lode area I have "caved" in Kings Canyon, Sequioa Nat. Park, Arizona, Idaho, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconson, and soon... New Mexico! The "caver" to the right will take you to one of my recent trips.
