INTERVIEW: EVA HABERMANN


With Eva into space - Pumuckl (German tv-show for children) presenter begin 
climbing with Lexx


Four rebels are flying trough space without destination with the biggest 
spaceship ever and they are fighting against the power of evil

LEXX - The Dark Zone: A new series in 4 episodes, costs: 14 million. Dollar - 
an unusual science-fiction-projekt, brought out on video first and which can be 
seen now at the little television company VOX.. LEXX is announced as a mix of 
STAR WARS and ALIENS with a little bit BLADE RUNNER and a pinch of humor a la 
HITCHHIKERS GUIDE.


An international production - and in the middle of it as the only German: Eva 
Habermann, 21.
With 14 she won a presenter competition, became popular with PUMUCKL-TV.
She was chosen under 250 applicants. Besides Rutger Hauer and Malcolm McDowell 
the amazon Eva plays Zev, a loveslave. 
 
Aren't you afraid of an image-change?
Not a bit! I wanted to leave the childrenrail. And as Zev I'm allowed to play a 
skin showing despicable nature. I like it.

Is your naked skin the reason for the late showing of LEXX?
I was astonished about it. One can only see me naked under a shower in the 
second episode but LEXX is only released from 16. Probable of the violence- and 
action-scenes. But there is only synthetic blood flowing and the bursting 
brains are generated by a computer.

LEXX was made three months in Halifax/Canada and improvements were made one 
month in the atelier Tonkreuz in Babelsberg. 
And if LEXX is successful we will see Eva again in a continuation.
