Now what can I say about Josh. ... When he was a child he and his grandfather would go for rock hunts. For most people what comes to mind is a little boy showing a rock to Grandpa and having him say “that’s a pretty one” and the boy stuffing it in an already overflowing pocket as he looks for another one. It wasn’t like that for these two though. Josh’s grandfather knew geology, so when Josh would show him a rock his grandpa would tell him what kind of rock it was and how it was formed. (sedimentary, igneous, etc.) Then he would tell him what it was made of. (mica, quartz, gold, etc.) Then came an approximate age of the rock. (Older than dirt, comes to mind)
