Click the Start button, then Control Panel, then Network
Connections. (If your Control Panel is in Category view, select Network and
Internet Connections, then the Network Connections Control Panel icon.)

Under "Network Tasks" on the left hand side of the window,
click Create a New Connection.

The "New Connection Wizard" box should appear. Click the
Next button.

Select the "Connect to the Internet" option and click the
Next button.

Select the "Set up my connection manually" option and click
the Next button.

Select the "Connect using a dial-up modem" option and click
the Next button.

For the ISP name, type in Goldrush and click the Next
button.

Enter the telephone number, then click the Next button.

Enter one of numbers listed below. Please choose one that is
local for you.
(dialing the area code should not be required unless you are dialing long
distance)

In the "New Connection Wizard" window:
Enter your Goldrush user name and password for the account information.

Make sure that the "Make this the default Internet
connection" and "Turn on Internet Connection Firewall for this connection"
options are checked.

The "Use this account name and password when anyone connects
to the Internet from this computer" option can be checked.

Click the Next button.

Check the option to add a shortcut to your desktop; click
the Finish button. A Goldrush icon should now appear on the desktop. To
connect to the Internet, double-click the desktop icon; enter your account
name and password if prompted.
