Putting Up a Web Page First, you will probably want to go through a tutorial or two to get a feel for some of the terms and ideas involved. Here are a couple to get you started: http://webdevelopersjournal.com/columns/abcs_of_building_web_sites.html Next, you will need some sort of editor or program to create the pages. This can be as simple as the Notebook text editor in Windows or as elaborate as a web page publishing program. Of course, there are trade-offs. The Windows notebook is included in Windows 3.x and higher, but you will need to learn HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) to create a page. This can actually be a rewarding experience, and you may wish to check out the following links for guidance: http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/wilbur/structure.html If you prefer to let a program do the HTML dirty work for you, there are many available. Our favorite has been Microsoft FrontPage and Dreamweaver, but there are many others. In fact, this document was originally produced using Microsoft Word 97. Here are some links where you can find some HTML editors: Copyright © 1997-2005 Goldrush
