Barracuda Spam Firewall General Information The Goldrush spam and virus system has been updated with a new Barracuda Spam Firewall that will allow the user to control thier spam settings. This feature is now enabled, and you may see an email message asking you to log in and check your quarantined email. You may also go to the following address to create an account before you receive your daily/weekly summary. If you would rather not have your spam quarantined but rather just have it
tagged with "***" prepended to the subject and delivered as normal, please see

If you have not been emailed access instructions by the system and want to manage your account, open the above web address, enter your email address and click "create new password". You will receive an email with your password. "Spam Filter Enable/Disable": Spam Filter Enable/Disable is used to turn on/off spam scanning for email messages to your account. If enabled, messages are scanned on the server for spam and blocked, quarantined, or tagged based on the results. If disabled, messages are not scanned for spam and will be passed through to your normal email account.
