Putting Up a Secure Web Page


Note: You must arrange for Secure Server Service for your domain before following these instructions if you site is hosted on the Windows 2000 server. You may use our support form to make the request.


The Windows 2000, Linux and Control Panel Linux now have separate secure servers.
 

Use the following settings:
(example of WS_FTP settings)
 

Windows 2000 server settings:
 

Host name/FTP address:  blitz.goldrush.com
Remote host directory:  /domain (without the .com, .net, .org or etc)
Local directory:  the location of the files on your hard drive

The URL to the secure server is:
https://blitz.goldrush.com/domain/filename.htm

Replace "domain" with your domain name (without .com, .org or .net)
If no file name is used, default.htm will be displayed

 

Linux server settings:
 

Host name/FTP address:  yourdomain.com
Remote host directory:  /yourdomain.com
Local directory:  the location of the files on your hard drive

The URL to the secure server is:
https://secure.goldrush.com/yourdomain.com/filename.htm

Replace "domain" with your domain name (without .com, .org or .net)
If no file name is used, index.html will be displayed

 

Control Panel Linux server settings:
 

Host name/FTP address:  yourdomain.com
Remote host directory:  /public_html
Local directory:  the location of the files on your hard drive

The URL to the secure server is:
https://dynamite.goldrush.com/~cpanelusername

Replace "domain" with your domain name (without .com, .org or .net)
If no file name is used, index.html will be displayed

 

(note the https instead of http in all examples)
