Using the Real Server

1. Make sure that you have arranged ahead of time to use this feature of your domain account.

You can enter this directly into the Player or link it from a web page using a ram file.

5. You can place a static file on the server to give your audience some sort of content when you are not streaming live.  Create a RealMedia file and ftp to quicksilver.goldrush.com, change to the encoder directory and then your domain directory and transfer the file there.  The location (or link to the location) can then remain the same.  When the live stream is present, it will be presented; otherwise the static file will be presented.
